Worst idea ever
This concept, which has been implemented in various states nationwide, has often resulted in budget overruns without providing advantages to children from average working families. It poses particular challenges in Idaho, a predominantly rural state, where most private and charter schools are located in urban areas. This situation primarily benefits affluent families who can already afford private school tuition. Consequently, the vast majority of students do not gain any advantage. Essentially, taxpayers would be subsidizing wealthier families to send their children to private schools, leaving public schools to manage with limited resources.
