Kevin Moxley, candidate for Idaho State Representative — Legislative District 24A (LD 24A).
I’m running to deliver practical, people-first solutions for Kimberly, Hansen, Filer, Fairfield, Gooding, Buhl—and every family working hard to get ahead.
Strong public schools
Idaho’s future runs through our classrooms. I’ll fight to strengthen public schools and respect the people who make them work.
-
Fully fund public education and protect local schools from political chaos
-
Support teacher and staff retention with real pay and support
-
Stand with educators’ right to organize—including IEA members and collective bargaining
Affordability and workforce housing
Families are getting squeezed from every direction—housing, childcare, groceries, utilities. We need action that matches real life.
-
Expand housing options that working families can afford
-
Reduce barriers to building smart, sustainable starter homes
-
Keep communities livable—not driven by speculation and runaway costs
Good jobs and unions
Working people built Idaho—and working people should share in Idaho’s success.
-
Explicitly pro-union: support the right to organize and bargain (IEA, IBEW, AFL-CIO)
-
Invest in apprenticeships, job training, and career pathways
-
Put workers and small businesses ahead of out-of-state special interests
Healthcare people can access
Healthcare should be there when you need it—especially in rural communities.
-
Protect Medicaid and access to care across Idaho
-
Treat mental health care like health care
-
Focus on prevention, affordability, and keeping hospitals and clinics open
Water, land, and salmon recovery
Idaho’s economy and way of life depend on clean water and responsible stewardship.
-
Support breaching the four lower Snake River dams (Lower Granite, Little Goose, Lower Monumental, Ice Harbor) as part of real salmon recovery
-
Protect clean water for farms, families, and communities
-
Invest in practical conservation and resilience projects
Rights, freedom, and dignity
Government should protect people’s rights—not pick winners and losers.
-
Defend civil rights and equal protection under the law
-
Protect voting access and democratic norms
-
Keep government out of private family and medical decisions
Honest, accountable government
You deserve a representative who shows up, listens, and tells the truth.
-
Transparent, ethical decision-making
-
Responsible budgeting with measurable outcomes
-
Common-sense problem solving—not ideological stunts

My Story
Kevin Moxley is a maintenance technician, real estate agent, and Navy veteran running to serve Idaho’s Legislative District 24A. As an avionics technician in the U.S. Navy, he learned what it means to work under pressure, solve problems fast, and leave things better than he found them—values he’s carried into his career and community life ever since.
Kevin lives and works in the Magic Valley and understands the day-to-day realities families are facing: housing costs, healthcare access, and public schools stretched too thin. He’s running to lower the pressure on working people, strengthen neighborhood schools, protect clean water, and build an economy where wages keep up and local families can afford to stay.
Kevin is proudly pro-union and believes workers deserve a fair shot and a real voice on the job—supporting collective bargaining and the right to organize, including educators and members of the IEA, IBEW, and AFL-CIO.
He’s also a strong advocate for restoring Idaho’s rivers and salmon—supporting breaching the four lower Snake River dams (Lower Granite, Little Goose, Lower Monumental, and Ice Harbor) as part of a serious, science-based recovery plan.
Kevin Moxley is running to bring practical, honest leadership to Boise—focused on results, rooted in community, and guided by respect for working people.
